Job Description

Job Summary

The position is a Senior Accountant in Shanghai Corporate Finance team. He/she will be managing month-end closing, intercompany (I/C) transactions, and process and system enhancement.

 

Key Responsibilities – 

  • Complete monthly GL closing and reconciliation
  • Manage intercompany transactions and booking in I/C module in Oracle
  • Reconcile IC balances every month and provide settlement plan
  • Conduct monthly end review and prepare for financial statements
  • Improve internal and external accounting process
  • Support Oracle system enhancement
  • Support annual audit and tax filing requirements

 

Required Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, e.g. IFRS
  • Experience of ERP, especially GL and I/C module. Experience of Oracle Fusion system is preferred.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, PPT, etc.
  • Proficiency in written, spoken and reading English. Good communication skills.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting of finance or equivalent required
  • Preferably with membership of accounting organization, such as CICPA/HKCPA/ACCA

 

Experience

  • At least 6 years’ experience in the field of accounting, at least 3 years as GL role
  • Auditor experience would be preferred
  • Oracle experience would be preferred
