THE TEAM

You will be part of the Food & Beverage Kitchen team, working closely with the Chef de Cuisine and leading a team of Chef de Partie and Cooks. This role plays an essential part in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the kitchen while maintaining high culinary standards.

 

YOUR ROLE

As Sous Chef, you will support the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality food. You will contribute to operational excellence by maintaining food quality, controlling costs, supervising team members, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

Support the Chef de Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operations

Oversee food production, portion control, and presentation standards

Ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistent high-quality output

Monitor food cost and control quality and quantity of all food items

Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas

Train, supervise, and develop kitchen team members

 

COULD THIS BE YOU?

You have strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food hygiene standards

You demonstrate leadership, communication, and organizational skills

You are able to effectively supervise operations and manage food costs

You possess basic English communication and computer skills

You are detail-oriented, responsible, and able to solve problems efficiently

You have at least 8 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a 5-star hotel
