THE TEAM

You will join the Food & Beverage Division, working closely with a dynamic team of Mei Bar associates and collaborating with other Food & Beverage Outlet Managers. You will report directly to Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and play a key leadership role within the division.

YOUR ROLE

As the Manager – Mei Bar, you will shape the experience of Mei Bar and the related beverage programs. You will elevate quality, drive innovation, and maximize profitability while ensuring the bar reflects the exceptional service and atmosphere Rosewood is known for. Your role directly impacts guest satisfaction, brand visibility, and the commercial success of our bar operations. You will collaborate with marketing, purchasing, outlet leaders, and brand partners to ensure we remain best-in-class in Beijing and beyond.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

Lead the Mei Bar operations and related beverage program while upholding quality standards and driving profitability.
Develop bar concept, seasonal promotions, and marketing activities aligned with guest expectations and market trends.
Ensure exceptional guest engagement, service delivery, and the creation of unique drinking experiences.
Drive bar financial performance, including beverage revenue, events, cost control, and monthly analysis with action plans.
Create and maintain beverage menus, including costing, engineering, and market research to stay competitive.
Train, coach, and mentor bar teams, ensuring knowledge, creativity, and consistent service excellence.
Build partnerships with brands and distributors to enhance financial performance and market visibility.
Ensure hygiene, safety, maintenance, and operational readiness across all bar areas.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

You bring at least five years of experience leading bar or beverage programs in a luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel or a top Asia bar.
You have deep knowledge of wines, spirits, beverage production techniques, and bar tools.
You excel in financial analysis, budgeting, and setting performance objectives.
You’re a creative and resourceful leader with a passion for crafting extraordinary experiences and beverages.
You motivate and develop teams through coaching, training, and strong interpersonal skills.
You remain calm under pressure and handle guest interactions and operational challenges with good judgment.
You have strong English communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
You’re proficient with main-stream office tools and maintain a polished, professional presence.
