KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary

Reporting to the China Marketing & Communications Director, this role will establish Rosewood Hotel Group's new brand identity in China while continuously elevating brand awareness and reputation for both the master brand and its portfolio. Based on a thorough understanding of the brand's global Marketing & Communications strategy, develop and execute locally tailored strategies and plans that resonate with the Chinese market and target audiences.Support integrated global marketing campaigns while independently leading project planning and execution. Demonstrate strong collaboration and exploratory spirit to draw inspiration from global and domestic trends, infusing the brand with vitality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Brand Communications
  • Develop brand communications strategies based on deep understanding of brand vision and market dynamics, translating them into executable plans to achieve objectives.  
  • Craft targeted communication and develop exposure plans aligned with the brand and core properties' market positioning in China to enhance visibility.  
  • Build Rosewood-branded communities and implement tiered audience engagement strategies (Media, KOLs, Influencers, Artists, Designers, talents) through precise market and consumer analysis.  
  • Identify brand-aligned partnerships in China to amplify awareness and reputation among target consumer segments through diversified collaborations.  
  • Initiate PR initiatives (Launch Events, Community Events, Cross-Over Activities, FAM Trips) to support brand campaigns and awareness goals.  

Brand Marketing
  • Support planning and execution of global integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring execllent implementation and outstanding results.  
  • Independently plan and execute local marketing projects according to brand and market requirements.  

Property Support
  • Serve as the key communications liaison for supporting various properties' promotional activities in China.  
  • Advise properties on comprehensive communication & marketing strategies, guiding DOCs toward effective implementation to elevate property positioning.  
  • Support core campaigns for China properties, ensuring execution reflects Rosewood's brand essence and each property's unique positioning from planning to delivery.  

Team Collaboration  
  • Maintain effective communication with global and cross-functional teams to ensure information accuracy and project success.  
  • Professionally manage agency relationships for mutual growth.  
  • Adhere to corporate policies and ensure compliance with financial, legal, and operational procedures.  

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing & communications with 3+ years at managerial level. Luxury experience in Marketing and Communications is must. 
  • Experience in strategic brand management and 360-degree marketing planning and execution within the luxury sector.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin. Overseas study or living experience a plus.
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure, adhere to budgets and meet tight deadlines.
  • Pro-active and a good team player with a keen eye for detail.
  • Is always a “brand ambassador” and ensures brand integrity and company culture is always maintained.
