THE TEAM

You will be part of the Housekeeping Team, working closely with a dedicated team of Floor Team Leaders, Room Attendants, and Runners to ensure exceptional standards across guest floors. This role reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping and collaborates closely with Public Area, Front Services, Engineering, and other Rooms stakeholders to deliver a seamless guest experience.

YOUR ROLE

As Floor Manager, you play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day operation of guest floors, ensuring rooms are presented in immaculate condition and ready for sale in line with Rosewood’s luxury standards. You will lead and motivate floor teams, uphold service excellence, and act as a key point of coordination between general Housekeeping, Front Services, Engineering, and other departments. Your contribution directly impacts guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall success of Rosewood Beijing.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

- Ensure guest rooms are cleaned, inspected, and returned to inventory on time, meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation  

- Lead and supervise Floor Team Leaders, Room Attendants, and Runners to consistently deliver excellence on guest floors

- Identify maintenance issues, raise work orders, and follow up to ensure timely completion

- Monitor and control housekeeping operations, including linen, uniforms, public areas, and storerooms

- Manage inventory, usage, and records of linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies

- Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction

COULD THIS BE YOU?

- You have at least two years of management experience in Housekeeping within a luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel

- You bring strong knowledge of housekeeping floor operations and hotel systems

- You are detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

- You lead by example, with the ability to motivate, guide, and influence teams effectively

- You communicate confidently and calmly with guests and colleagues, even in challenging situations

- You are proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
