Job Summary
Supervise residence team including residence Front office / Guest Relations / Club 68 team work within budgeted guidelines established by the property, manage guest activity related residence functions by monitoring standards. Work close with HSKP team to establish the home away from home residence experience for all the guest to make sure RW standards are on hold to differential us to competitor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
- Ensures the Front Services team maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures on a daily basis.
- Monitor TrustYou and take necessary action to ensure service level and engagement are always up to standard and goal set by the management in order to maintain high customers’ satisfaction and loyalty.
- Meet with manager or supervisor on Duty to review business status and follow up items.
- Access all function or computer systems according to established procedures and standards.
- Check front desk and storage areas for proper supplies, organization and cleanliness. Instruct designated personal to rectify any cleanliness/organization deficiencies.
- Establish par levels of supplies and equipment. Complete requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needs.
- Monitor and ensure that front desk and lobby areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
- Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations.
- Prepare weekly work schedule in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.
- Maintain and promote positive guest relations. Ensure prior arrive, arrive, in house and depart of guest are smooth and create repeat guests. Fulfil any of guest preference if known.
- Maintain open communication lines with all departments effected by front office operation.
- Organize the activities or party to residence guest to maintain a good customer relationship.
- Establish the guest survey to understand the area to improve.
Required Skills
- Well developed leadership competencies.
- Strategic thinking, with strong problem solving and organisational skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills (written / verbal).
- Effective relationship management skills (internal / external)
- Strong customers focus skills.
- Sound financial understanding to Rooms Profit and Loss level (including MOD’s).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, business or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience.
Experience
- Minimum five years’ hotel experience with two years’ management experience. Luxury or ultra-luxury experience is preferred.
